Academic Fellowships' Fund Vewa

In accordance with its objectives VEWA (Association of Educative and Scientific Authors) aims to achieve, and in order to foster closer collaboration with colleagues from developing and/or transition countries and the Flemish academic and scientific community, a FUND FOR ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIPS is established by VEWA.

In particular, VEWA offers on a yearly basis and for the upcoming 2 academic years:

3 fellowships, 15000 euros each, in order to allow 3 researchers and/or professors from developing and transition countries to carry out a research project and/or to teach.

25 fellowships, maximum 1000 euros each, in order to allow researchers or professors from developing and transition countries to participate to scientific conferences and seminars.
 

Members of VEWA are kindly invited to submit to vewafund@cer-leuven.be before October 1, 2010 :

A. For the 3 fellowships 2011:
1. a CV in English of the candidate;
2. the research and/or teaching project (in English, Dutch, or French);
3. a CV of the member of VEWA.

B. For the 25 fellowships 2011:
1. a CV in English of the candidate;
2. the programme of the conference and seminars (in English, Dutch, or French);
3. a CV of the member of VEWA.

A Selection Committee will submit its choice to the VEWA Board for approval. The decisions will be announced the latest by November 1, 2010. More information: http://www.cer-leuven.be/cerleuven/Vewa/vewafund.htm
